London, May 7. . . On Tuesday last died at his lodgings on
Hampstead Heath Mr. John Moore, the well known Worm doctor,
formerly of Abchurch Lane, and late of Laurence Pountney's-
lane, Canon-street, and will now very shortly verify the
celebrated Mr. Pope's willy observations of him in the
following lines.
  O learned friend of Abchurch lane, 
  Who sets our entrails free, 
  Vain is thy art, thy powder vain, 
  Since worms shall eat ev'n thee.
